The anticipated reunion of ‘Animal’ star Triptii Dimri with Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3 has hit an unexpected roadblock. Recent reports confirm Triptii Dimri’s exit from the project, though the circumstances remain clouded in speculation.

Initial reports suggested Dimri voluntarily stepped away due to indefinite production delays, citing title-related disputes. However, industry insiders paint a different picture, claiming the makers sought a departure following concerns about Dimri’s evolving screen image post-‘Animal’.

The project, initially announced as a Bhushan Kumar-Mukesh Bhatt collaboration, has faced several hurdles such as transition to sole production by Bhushan Kumar in March 2024, temporary rebranding as “Tu Aashiqui Hai” and franchise-related discussions with lead actor Kartik Aaryan.
