Saif Ali Khan Stabbed : Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is currently undergoing surgery at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after being stabbed multiple times by an unidentified individual at his Bandra residence early this morning.
Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, confirmed that Saif Ali Khan sustained six stab wounds, two of which are deep. One of the deep wounds is located near his spine. A team of medical professionals, including neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthesiologist Dr. Nisha Gandhi, are attending to the actor.

While the neurosurgery has been completed, the plastic surgery to repair the wounds is still underway. Dr. Uttamani stated that Saif is out of danger and a further update will be provided soon.
Saif Ali Khan’s team released an official statement confirming that the incident involved an attempted burglary at the actor’s residence. The statement urged media and fans to be patient and acknowledged that the matter is under police investigation.
Initial investigations reveal that an intruder entered Saif Ali Khan’s residence at the Satguru Sharan building while he was asleep. A confrontation ensued, resulting in the actor being stabbed by the intruder who subsequently fled the scene.
An FIR has been registered against the intruder at the Bandra Police Station.
The police have taken three employees working at Saif Ali Khan’s residence for questioning. Additionally, one of the employees was also injured during the incident.
The Mumbai Crime Branch has been assigned to conduct a parallel investigation. Seven teams have been formed to search for the suspect. While one team is analyzing CCTV footage, other teams have been dispatched to various locations within and outside of Mumbai.
