Pune Vidhan Sabha Election 2024: 5.53% Polling in the First Two Hours

Kasba Records Highest Turnout of 7.44%

Pune: Voting began at 7 AM in all 21 Assembly constituencies of the district. Long queues of voters were seen at many polling booths. In the first two hours, the district recorded a voter turnout of 5.53%. The Kasba Assembly constituency recorded the highest turnout at 7.44%, while the Pimpri constituency recorded the lowest turnout at 4.04%.

A district control room has been set up at the District Collector’s office, and the the election process is being monitored under the guidance of District Collector Dr. Suhas Divse through CCTV. A total of 13,000 CCTV cameras have been installed at 6,500 polling stations in urban areas and 1,800 in rural areas.
