Pune to Prayagraj: Special Bharat Gaurav Train for 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela
Pune to Prayagraj: IRCTC will operate a special Bharat Gaurav train from Pune to Prayagraj for the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela. The train is scheduled to depart on January 15th at 10:00 PM. This initiative aligns with the Central Government’s “Dekho Apna Desh” program, which has successfully promoted domestic tourism through 86 operated trains nationwide.

Pune Division Regional Manager Gururaj Sonna, during a press conference at Pune Railway Station, provided further details about the train service.
The Bharat Gaurav train will offer modern amenities, including security personnel, CCTV surveillance, and onboard food services. Pilgrims will also have access to a well-equipped tent city at the Kumbh Mela site.
This 7-night, 8-day journey will cover key destinations like Pune, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya. The train will comprise seven sleeper coaches, three third-AC coaches, one second-AC coach, and a pantry car.
This convenient travel option provides an excellent opportunity for devotees to experience the grandeur of the Maha Kumbh Mela.
