Pune Land Scam: Two fraudsters have been arrested in Pune after allegedly duping at least 10 individuals out of a total sum of ₹4.16 crore by promising to sell them land in the sought-after areas of Wagholi and Kharadi.
The accused targeted individuals seeking to purchase land for residential purposes. They promised to sell plots to the victims and collected significant sums of money through various means, including cash, cheques, and RTGS transfers. However, the accused failed to deliver on their promises, neither providing the land nor returning the payments.

One of the victims reported being threatened by the accused. The victim said, “I will neither give you your money nor the land. Do whatever you want.”
The Kharadi Police are investigating the possibility of more victims, as several individuals have come forward with similar complaints. The police believe the accused may have targeted a larger number of people, potentially scamming them out of a substantial amount.
The police have urged residents of Wagholi, Kharadi, and surrounding areas to exercise extreme caution when engaging in land transactions and to report any suspicious activities immediately. (Pune Land Scam)
