Pune Heatwave: Temperature is expected to rise in Pune in March. Along with this, the IMD (India Meteorological Department) has alerted for the heatwave. Not only Pune, this forecast has been given for most parts of the country.

Particularly in Pune and Maharashtra, both maximum and minimum temperatures would be higher than usual in March. The state may experience heatwave-like conditions for most of March.
If we check the past records, Pune has maximum touched 40 degrees Celsius. A heatwave condition arises when temperatures cross or touch this temperature mark. High humidity, high wind speed may worsen the conditions during heatwaves. (Pune Heatwave)
