The three men were employed as drivers for a container company owned by Santosh Panchudkar. On Thursday evening, Parmeshwar and Ram had arrived at Ganesh Warehouse to unload goods. Following their work, they went to a hotel near Pune-Nagar road for dinner, accompanied by Ramchandra.
During their meal, an argument erupted between Parmeshwar and Ram concerning the payment of the dinner bill. The argument intensified, culminating in Parmeshwar slapping Ram across the face. Enraged by this, Ram allegedly retaliated by running his container truck over Parmeshwar, reportedly stating his intention to kill him.
After the gruesome act, Ram drove his truck erratically, hitting several parked vehicles before fleeing the scene. He was subsequently apprehended by witnesses who pursued him and handed him over to the Lonikand police station. Ram has been arrested, and Sub-Inspector Vaijnath Kedar of Wagholi Police Station is leading the ongoing investigation into the incident.
