Pune Couple Fraud: Pune based couple have duped numerous individuals, primarily IT professionals, in a multi-crore investment scam. The police are searching for the duo. The couple reportedly operated an investment Firm named Ashtavinayak from a mall in Pune’s Camp area. They used to lure victims with promises of instant loans, EMI management services, and high returns on investments. (Pune Couple Fraud)

Pune police received many complaints against them. The police were looking for them but they got no leads. Only then, they checked the accused couple’s immigration records which confirmed their departure to Thailand. The police are now taking preparing for their extradition through Interpol.
According to information, the couple reportedly disappeared in February 2023. After that, an FIR was lodged at Bund Garden Police Station on March 17, 2023. Additionally, the woman’s sister-in-law had filed a missing person report at Kondhwa Police Station. The reported stated that the couple and their five-year-old son had gone missing.
The couple has been declared absconding. The court has issued proclamation orders. Two lookout circulars have also been issued against them in 2023. But the couple had already fled the country. Three employees of the firm have been arrested for the inquiry. Authorities are now coordinating with central agencies to pursue extradition.
