Police Commissioner Issues Instructions to Remove Traffic Issues
Pune Airport Traffic: Pune police are taking important measures to get rid of traffic jams in the Pune International Airport premises. Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar has decided to ban parking of all types of vehicles on new airport terminal complex road of the airport. According to this, orders have been given not to park rickshaws and cars in this area. There is permission to drop passengers by car (cab) at the new terminal of the airport. But, the arriving passengers will have to go to the Aeromall complex to take cab service. There is a distance between the new terminal and Aeromall. Therefore, the facility of two electric buses and six golf carts has been provided here. This service is free. There is an elevated staircase to go from the old terminal to Aeromall. After the facility of bus and golf carts, many passengers have started to use the road. Cars and rickshaws carrying passengers are parked in this part. Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar had held a meeting on Tuesday to find a solution to the traffic jam in this area. He has ordered that the problem of traffic in this area should be solved and parking of all types of vehicles should be prohibited. There is a crowd outside the pubs and restaurants of Yerawada area. Traffic comes to a standstill in this area at night. Citizens have complained about this. Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar has ordered action against those who violate the rules.
