Pune Airport Sets New Record: Pune Airport witnessed a record-breaking month in November, surpassing 9 lakh passengers for the first time in its history. This surge in air travel reflects the growing popularity of the city as a travel hub.
Domestic travel continued to dominate, with 8.80 lakh passengers utilizing domestic flights. International passenger numbers also saw a significant increase, reaching 20,554, a remarkable 44% jump compared to the previous month.

Operational Milestones:

The Maharashtra Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution to rename Pune Airport after Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj. The resolution will now be forwarded to the Civil Aviation Ministry for consideration.
