Police Raids Hookah Parlor in Mundhwa : Police conducted a raid at a hookah parlor operating inside a hotel in Mundhwa. The operation resulted in the seizure of hookah pot and flavored tobacco. Following the raid, a case was registered against the hotel owner and the manager at the Mundhwa police station.

The crime branch’s Unit 5 team was patrolling the area when they received information about an illegal hookah parlor operating inside a hotel in the vicinity. Police officer Tanaji Deshmukh gathered this information and immediately acted. Upon reaching the location, the police seized items worth ₹7,000, including hookah pot and flavored tobacco. A criminal case was filed under the Cigarettes and Tobacco Products (Maharashtra Amendment) Act, 1918, against both the hotel owner and the manager.
The operation was conducted under the guidance of Additional Police Commissioner Shailesh Balkawade, Deputy Commissioner Nikhil Pingale, and Assistant Commissioner Rajendra Mulik. Police Inspector Yuvraj Hande, Assistant Inspector Vijaykumar Shinde, Police Staff Tanaji Deshmukh, Pramod Tilekar, Prithviraj Pandule, Shubhangi Mhalashikar, and Sanjaykumar Dalvi participated in the action.
