28 people have died so far in a terrorist attack in Baisaran valley on Tuesday, while 17 people have been injured. The terrorists have targeted tourists based on religion. From the army to the NIA, the police and other agencies are active in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district since Wednesday morning. From drones to helicopters, every inch is under surveillance. The high alert is issued from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi.
According to sources, two local terrorists involved in the Baisaran attack have been identified. Their names have been given as Adil Ahmed Thakur and Asif Sheikh.

At the time of the attack, one or two terrorists were wearing body cameras and they recorded the entire attack.

Two Pakistani terrorists are also involved in the attack. According to eye witnesses, the terrorists fired continuously with AK-47 for 15 to 20 minutes. The two terrorists who attacked were talking in Pashtun language, which makes it clear that they are Pakistani citizens.
The NIA has also recorded statements in this case, while the forensic team is collecting samples of bullet shells and other evidence from the spot. Sources have also said that both these terrorists of the local Lashkar module, i.e. Adil and Asif, were already on the radar of security agencies and are now being investigated as the main suspects in the Baisaran attack.
