India, in its big diplomatic move on Monday took major decisions. Diplomats from about 200 countries were called and briefed in detail on the Pahalgam terror attack. The Ministry of External Affairs briefed dozens of countries, including the US, Britain, Russia, France, Germany, Japan, China, Italy, Indonesia, Malaysia, Oman, UAE, Qatar, Norway, on how the terrorist ecosystem operating from Pakistan’s soil is still active.
India revoked article 360 from Jammu and Kashmir in a hope to give a boost to its economy. Indian officials said that the attack was a conspiracy to derail the democratic process and rapid economic progress in Jammu and Kashmir. The intention was to break the successful assembly elections in Kashmir and the stability that had returned to normal life.
