MSRTC Buses to Continue till Kolhapur Division Amid Ban: MSRTC Buses departing from Pune will continue to operate till Kolhapur Division amid ongoing dispute between Maharashtra and Karnataka over language. Notably, dispute over language had led to the assault of MSRTC staff by Karnataka linguistic activists. The incident occurred on Friday in Chitradurga, Karnataka. After that, the MSRTC has announced the suspension of Karnataka-bound buses.

Pratap Sarnaik, Transport Minister of Maharashtra took to social media on February 23 and instructed to cancel bus services between the Kolhapur Division and Karnataka until further notice. He said that the decision was taken considering the safety of MSRTC staff and passengers.
Around 250 buses between the two states have been cancelled indefinitely. Even though the Pune divisional officials claim about the bus services not being affected in Pune, there have been several complaints received from passengers.
Upon inquiring about the same, MSRTC’s Pune Divisional Collector cleared that the bus services in Pune is unaffected. But it will only go as far as the Kolhapur Division. (MSRTC Buses to Continue till Kolhapur Division Amid Ban)
