Mumbai: After the sudden death of Shiv Sangram President Vinayak Mete, doubts are being raised whether his car was really an accident or there was some deep conspiracy behind it. Meanwhile, the officials of Shiv Sangram in Beed have made a shocking disclosure. Mete was a staunch supporter of reservation for the Maratha community. On the day of the accident, he was coming to Mumbai from Beed to attend a meeting related to the same issue.

Beed office-bearer Annasaheb Malkar has revealed that an attempt was made to target Vinayak Mete’s car on August 3 too. Mete’s car was chased by two vehicles near Shikrapur on his way to Pune from Beed. Now after his claim, questions are being raised whether Mete’s accidental death was a well thought out conspiracy.

Malkar told that on August 3, when Mete was going from Beed to Pune, two vehicles chased Mete’s car near Shikrapur. A car even tried to cut our car. I myself was with him during this. He also claimed that he had then told Vinayak Mete that he was being chased by an Eicher car. But, then he had said that maybe the driver is drunk, so he is following again and again.

If someone was following him few days ago and on the morning of August 14, he meets with accident on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway. Then this is definitely a conspiracy and if it proves, then we will not keep silent. Vinayak Mete’s wife Jyoti Mete has demanded a probe into the entire matter. Mete’s wife has demanded a detailed inquiry into the chase vehicle and the vehicle involved in the accident on August 14, raising the possibility of a conspiracy.

On the other hand, the police is interrogating Mete’s driver, while the other carrier vehicle and his driver who collided with Mete’s car have also been caught by the police. Everyone’s call details are being checked.
