Uddhav Thackeray hands over portfolios of rebel MLAs to other ministers

Mumbai : Hearing is going on in the Supreme Court on the political battle of Maharashtra. In the court, the rebel MLAs have accused the deputy speaker of working closely with the Shiv Sena government. Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray has handed over the ministry of rebel ministers to other MLAs.

According to the information, Subhash Desai has been given the portfolio charge of Eknath Shinde, while the ministry charge of Gulabrao Patil has been given to Anil Parab.

The CM said that the work of administration should not be affected due to the absence of ministers, so this has been done. In a press release issued by the state government, it was said that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has assigned the portfolios of five absent ministers and four ministers of state to ensure smooth functioning of the department in case of heavy rains and calamities. It has been decided to hand over to other ministers.

Under Rule 6-A of the Government of Maharashtra, when a minister is not able to perform his duties due to absence, illness or any other reason, the Chief Minister may direct any other Minister to perform all or any of his duties in his absence.

Eknath Shinde’s Urban Development, Public Works (Public Enterprises) Departments to Subhash Desai, Gulabrao Raghunath Patil’s Water Supply and Sanitation Department to Anil Dattatraya Parab, Similarly, Dadaji Dagdu Bhuse’s Agriculture and Ex-Servicemen Welfare Department and Sandipan Asaram Bhumare’s (Employment) Guarantee has been given to Shankar Yashwantrao Gadakh, Horticulture Department to Aditya Thackeray, Higher and Technical Education Department to Uday Samant.
