Malvan : Tarkarli Boat Accident : Two persons were killed when a tourist boat sank in Tarkarli, Malvan. Preliminary information says that the condition of the two is critical. A total of 20 tourists were travelling in the boat which sank. The accident happened while returning from scuba diving. As soon as the boat sank, the locals started rescue work. Fortunately, 16 tourists are known to be safe. All the tourists are from Pune and Mumbai.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon. This has created an atmosphere of fear among the tourists in Tarkarli. The accident happened while all the tourists were returning from scuba diving. It was not immediately clear what caused the boat to sink. At the time of the accident, the rescue squads were called in to rescue the 18 tourists.
