Mumbai: Shiv Sena Shinde faction is now preparing to give another big blow to Shiv Sena Thackeray faction. Shiv Sena’s party funds have been claimed by the Shinde faction. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court in this matter. The petition has demanded that party funds from Shiv Sena Bhawan, all branches, all banks be given to Shiv Sena under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. This petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of Mumbai’s lawyer Ashish Giri.

A few days back, the Election Commission has handed over the party’s symbol, bow and arrow and the name of Shiv Sena to the Shinde faction. Hence, the Shinde faction has become the official Shiv Sena. However, there was no clarity in the order of the Central Election Commission regarding party funds. That’s why Mumbai’s lawyer Ashish Giri has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. In this petition, a demand has been made to hand over the movable and immovable property of Shiv Sena under the leadership of Balasaheb Thackeray. It has to be seen what decision the Supreme Court takes in this matter.

A few days back, the Election Commission had given the bow and arrow symbol as well as Shiv Sena party name to the Shinde faction. This was a big blow for Uddhav Thackeray. Now while recovering from this setback, the Thackeray group is now likely to face another blow.
