Pune: NCP chief Sharad Pawar has made a shocking revelation in a press conference in Pune that the early morning swearing-in ceremony was a ploy to lift the President’s rule in Maharashtra. “Would President’s rule have been lifted if the morning oath had not been taken? Would Uddhav Thackeray have become Chief Minister?”, the NCP chief said.
While speaking to the reporters, he said, “The only benefit of the early morning swearing-in was that the President’s rule was lifted, and you must have seen what happened after the President’s rule was lifted… If there was no President’s rule, would Uddhav Thackeray have become the Chief Minister?”
