Pune: The crime branch has raided a shop selling fake luxury brand’s footwear in Syednagar area of Hadapsar. A police team raided a shop at Aryan Center and seized fake notes worth around Rs 1 lakh 12 thousand. In this case, a case has been registered against the seller Samadhan Pandurang Koli (39, resident Syed Nagar, Hadapsar) in Hadapsar Police Station under the Copyright Act.
Mahendra Singh Deora (resident Pali, Rajasthan) has given a complaint in this regard. The action was taken by the team of unit five of the crime branch. Under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Crime Branch, Ram Nath Pokle, the team has earlier taken action against those selling fake branded clothes at various places in the city.
The Crime Branch had received information that counterfeit products were being sold in a shop in Syednagar. According to this, under the guidance of Inspector Ulhas Kadam of Unit V, a team along with Assistant Inspector Krishna Babar, Enforcement Officer Ramesh Sable raided the shop. This time, fake notes worth around Rs.1 lakh 12 thousand 425 have also been seized from.
