Pune: Pashan-Sus bridge area traffic changed on experimental basis

Pune: The traffic police have implemented traffic changes on an experimental basis to keep the traffic in Pashan-Sus Bridge area smooth. Right turns are prohibited on the bridge leading from Pashan to Sus.

According to Vijayakumar Magar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch, the alternative route in this area is as follows-

  • For the citizens living in the society in Bangalore Bypass area, while crossing Sus bridge, turn right at a distance of 200 meters and take Nanavare subway to the desired destination. Cars going to Satara via Pashan should take a left turn from Sai Chowk Pashan and proceed to the desired destination via Sutarwadi, Pashan.
  • To go to Hinjewadi, Sus and Mumbai, after crossing the Sus bridge, turn right at a distance of 200 meters and take the service road to Mumbai and Sus.

He added that in case of any objections or suggestions regarding the traffic changes, citizens are requested to send complain or suggestion in writing to the “Traffic Department, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jail Road, Yerwada, Pune-411006”.
