Pune: The Google office in Pune has received a bomb threat, after which the Mumbai Police is on alert mode. This Google office is located in Koregaon Park area of Pune. Actually, an unknown person had called the Mumbai Police and said that there was a bomb in the office. Later this information was given by the Mumbai Police to the Pune Police.

While taking action in this matter, the police has detained a person from Hyderabad. Similarly, a few days ago, an e-mail received by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) claimed that a person affiliated with the Taliban was about to carry out an attack in Mumbai. A police official had told on February 3 that the Mumbai office of the investigating agency received this threatening e-mail on February 2, after which the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and the city police were informed about it.

According to the police, in this message sent from an email ID belonging to the CIA, the sender has claimed that a person affiliated with the Taliban will carry out an attack in the city. The official said that the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the sender is from Pakistan. He told that such e-mail was sent to the federal agency last month as well. However, in the investigation of the police, the e-mail was proved to be false. The officer said that the police suspect some mischief behind this, as such e-mails have been sent to the agency several times in the past as well.
