Due to the mismanagement of the temple committee for the last six months, devotees have not received laddu prasad. Now, according to the new tender, the price of laddu has been almost doubled.
For the last few years, the temple committee had started selling bundi laddu as a prasad. This Laddu Prasad was very popular among the Warkaris. The Laddu Prasad Committee was closed during the Corona period. Devotees were annoyed as they were not getting laddu prasad even after the temple started. Gahininath Maharaj Ausekar, co-chairman of the temple committee, has said that they are ready to give laddu prasad before Ashadi but the price for the laddu prasad will be Rs 20.
Although Ausekar has said that the price has gone up as the laddu weighed 140 grams this time. But earlier also, laddu weighed 140 grams and was priced at Rs 15. The previous contractor was packing 2 laddu weighing 140 grams and paying 12 rupees 50 paise to the temple committee.
