Mumbai: BEST announces concessional fares for UG & PG students

Mumbai: BEST has made a big announcement regarding UG and PG students. In fact, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had said in a program that UG and PG students should get bus passes. Only after that BEST announced to give concession to undergraduate and post graduate students while travelling in buses.

That is, now under graduate and post graduate students in Mumbai will get concession for travelling in buses. Best has made a special plan for this. Now, all the students will be able to travel in the best buses at concessional rates by making a pass. Students can take advantage of this scheme from 22nd August i.e. Monday.

According to a report, earlier students had to pay Rs 999 to avail the facility of 100 trips of BEST buses. But, now they will have to pay only Rs 500. With this new announcement of BEST, students will get the benefit of 50 percent.

According to BEST, now the three-month pass has been priced at Rs 1500 and the six-month pass is priced at Rs 2500. BEST says that these passes will be issued from August 22. Students can apply this pass online through BEST app. According to the information received, students up to class V will get a pass for Rs 200 per month.
