Maharashtra: Former MLA Vinayak Mete dies in road accident on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Mumbai: Former MLA Vinayak Mete died in a road accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

According to the information, this accident happened in the Madap Tunnel near Panvel. The former MLA was going in his SUV car. During this, an accident happened, he was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.

Vinayak Mete had suffered serious injuries in a road accident. As soon as the information about the accident was received, he was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital located in Kamothe area of Navi Mumbai.

At present, the cause of the accident is not known. The accident was so horrible which can be guessed by looking at the condition of the car. Vinayak Mete was brought to the hospital, but could not be saved.

Vinayak Mete was the president of Shivsangram Party. He was born on 30 June 1970 in Beed. Vinayak Mete’s name had emerged rapidly in Maharashtra politics. The freedom struggle and the Samyukta Maharashtra movement had a deep impact on his thoughts. Vinayak Mete was elected MLC unopposed from BJP quota in 2016.
