Heavy traffic jam on Mumbai-Goa National Highway after Pune

Mumbai : Mumbai-Goa National Highway Traffic Jam: There is a huge traffic jam on the Mumbai-Goa National Highway. Today being the second Saturday, the number of people going for weekend has increased. Currently, many have opted for road transport as train tickets are full. Therefore, there is a traffic jam on the Mumbai-Goa highway.

Long queues of vehicles can be seen near Mangaon and Indapur in Raigad district. A large crowd of vehicles is seen going to Konkan and Goa. There is four to five kilometers long queues. The police system seems to be getting exhausted while resolving traffic congestion. Consecutive holidays and weekends have led to an increase in the number of vehicles. Passengers have also been affected due to heavy traffic jams.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai-Pune Expressway has caused traffic jams at Khalapur Toll and Borghat. Weekend traffic as well as heavy vehicles are in large numbers so people on two wheeler have to suffer from traffic jams. In Borghat, there is 2-3 km long queues on both sides from Amritanjan bridge. Vehicles are moving very slowly. Traffic is slow at Khandala towards Lonavla and towards Mumbai. While there is a 2-3 km long queues on both sides of the Amritanjan bridge, the traffic is slow at 2-3 km towards Khandala Lonavla and towards Mumbai.
