Baramati: An amazing experiment in the construction sector is going to be done in Baramati of Pune district. A two-storied building will be lifted and relocated 9 feet back. The video of this has now gone viral on social media and people are thrilled to watch the process.
Why is the building is being relocated?
In Katewadi (Taluka Indapur), the Mulani family decided to do this experiment to save the building to preserve the memories of his father. The building was going to be demolished to complete the widening of the road.
Accordingly, two storied building is being relocated 9 feet away from the original site. At present, the building is raised 6 inches from the original site and will be lifted up to 5 feet and moved backwards with the help of jacks and channels.
