Mumbai : Two years ago, there were several accidents during Ashadhi Wari. Therefore, the administration has fulfilled the demand of Warkaris to stop the traffic on Wari route this year. Therefore, only one-way traffic will continue between Dindi, information has been received from Nashik Police. Sources said that the rule will be applicable on all Dindi routes in the state.
‘Santshrestha Nivruttinath Maharaj Payi Dindi’ will leave for Pandharpur for Ashadi Wari. 46 Dindis from all over Maharashtra will participate in this Dindi festival. Considering the increasing prevalence of corona, for the last two years, due to restrictions imposed by the government, only 25 Warakaris were going to Pandharpur by Shivshahi bus. This year, however, the enthusiasm of Warakaris has doubled as payi dindi has been allowed and a large number of Warakaris have started arriving in Trimbakeshwar since yesterday.
After a gap of two years, palakhi of ‘Sant Nivruttinath’ will go to Pandharpur. Against this backdrop, a large number of Warakaris arrived in Trimbak. After visiting Trimbakeshwar and village, the first stop of the palakhi will be at Satpur village near Nashik. As this year’s Wari is free from restrictions, there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the Warkaris.
