Mumbai: Bookie Anil Jaisinghani has been finally arrested from Gujarat. A case was registered against Jaisinghani for offering bribe to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amruta Fadnavis.
A case was registered against designer Aniksha Jaisinghani and her father Anil Jaisinghani by the Mumbai Police for threatening and trying to bribe Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amruta Fadnavis.
Jaisinghani was absconding for the last seven years. Many cases were filed against him. After the case of Amruta Fadnavis, the police were looking for action against him. Finally he has been arrested from Gujarat. A few days ago his daughter Aniksha Jayasinghani was arrested.
After all this came to light, many shocking information about Aniksha and Anil Jaisinghani has come to light.
Aniksha is alleged to have offered a bribe of Rs 1 crore to Amruta Fadnavis to get her father released from a criminal case.
A police officer informed that Anil Jaisinghani has connections with political leaders and IPS officers across the country. A total of 17 cases have been registered against Anil Jaisinghani in six states namely Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam and Goa. Police was looking for Anil Jaisinghani in these cases.
A lookout notice was also issued against him in May 2019. Anil Jaisinghani has been arrested several times in cricket betting cases.
Jaisinghani owns a hotel in Shirdi. He has so far contested local body elections four times on the ticket of Congress and NCP. In 2022, Jaisinghani had also won the local self-governance elections while contesting from the Nationalist Congress Party.
