Mumbai: RTI activist Anjali Damania has claimed that NCP leader Ajit Pawar is soon going to join BJP. While there is talk of closeness between NCP and BJP in the state, on the other hand this claim of Anjali Damania is making a lot of headlines in the political circles.
‘15 MLAs of Shinde faction will be expelled’
Anjali Damania has tweeted that she had gone to the ministry in connection with work today. Where she got to know that 15 MLAs of Shinde faction will be expelled and very soon Ajit Pawar will join BJP.
Notably, the Supreme Court is currently hearing the power struggle of the state. The Thackeray faction has demanded that disqualification action be taken against the MLAs of the Shinde faction. Referring to the same, Anjali Damania has claimed that 15 MLAs will be thrown out of the government. After the disqualification of 15 MLAs of the Shinde faction, the government will be reduced to a minority and the BJP cannot afford to lose a big state like Maharashtra. Anjali Damania has said that BJP will try to pull Ajit Pawar towards its side and to save the government. Ajit Pawar will join BJP along with some MLAs.
Talking about her tweet, Anjali Damania said that Ajit Pawar is the leader of the opposition party. But he seems to be taking a soft stand against the BJP. Despite being many serious issues in the state, Ajit Pawar does not express his opinion nor criticizes the BJP.
Anjali Damania said that on the other hand some reports also tell that the closeness between Ajit Pawar and BJP is increasing. ED has also dropped Ajit Pawar’s name in the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank scam.
