Sangli: NCP state president Jayant Patil has again given statement regarding president rule in the state. He said that President’s rule may be imposed in Maharashtra while speaking in Sangli. Jayant Patil had given the same statement two days back as well. However, Leader of Opposition Ajit Pawar reacted to this and said that I want to ask Jayant Patil that what clue has he got that he is saying that President’s rule can be imposed in the state.
Jayant Patil has repeated his statement again in Sangli. Patil said that if the decision of the Supreme Court comes and if the rebel MLAs are disqualified, then these MLAs will go to Uddhav Thackeray. After which there will be no option but to impose President’s rule in Maharashtra.
Let us tell you, in past, president’s rule was imposed in Maharashtra from 17 February 1980 to 9 June 1980. After that, President’s rule was imposed in Maharashtra for the second time in 2014. In 2014, President’s rule was imposed for 32 days i.e. from 28 September 2014 to 31 October 2014.
