89 farmers committed suicide in Maharashtra during 24 days of Shinde government

Mumbai : Former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had to step down after many political developments in the state. After that Eknath Shinde united with BJP and formed the government in the state. After Eknath Shinde took oath as Chief Minister, he first resolved to make Maharashtra farmer suicide free saying that no farmer would commit suicide in the state. However, shocking information has come out that most farmers committed suicide in the state during the 24 days of Shinde government. In the last 24 days, 89 farmers have ended their lives in the state. In these statistics, the highest number of farmer suicides have taken place in Marathwada.

It has been 24 days since Shinde-Fadnavis government came to the state. However, the state cabinet has not been expanded yet. Therefore, the government is being criticised. In this case, the Chief Minister has said that the cabinet will be expanded before the coming monsoon session. The state is yet to get an agriculture minister due to non-expansion of the cabinet. Amid this situation in the state, the farmer suicide continues. In the last 24 days, 89 farmers have committed suicide in the state. Most farmers committed suicide in Aurangabad, Beed, Yavatmal. Now everyone’s attention is on what exactly the Chief Minister is going to do on this.
