1. Devendra Fadnavis elected leader of the legislative party: On Wednesday morning, Devendra Fadnavis was elected the leader of the legislative party. After the meeting of the legislative party, Fadnavis visited Varsha Bungalow to meet Eknath Shinde. Ajit Pawar also arrived there.
2. Claim to form the government: Subsequently, the three leaders went to Raj Bhavan and staked their claim to form the government. Governor CP Radhakrishnan invited them to form the government. The new government will be sworn in tomorrow (Thursday, December 5) at 5:30 pm at Mumbai’s historic Azad Maidan.
3. Fadnavis appeals to Shinde to join the government: After meeting the Governor, the three leaders addressed a press conference. 5. Shinde’s statement: He said, “The mandate given by the people has increased our responsibility. I am happy that Devendra Fadnavis is becoming the Chief Minister once again. There is no big or small in the Mahayuuti. In the last two and a half years, we brought many schemes and did welfare work.”
6. Fadnavis’ statement: After being elected the leader of the legislative party, Devendra Fadnavis said, “Our responsibility has increased. We need to work harder. It will be challenging to fulfill the expectations that people have from us. To live up to the expectations of the people, we will have to work together with our colleagues.”
7. Ajit Pawar’s statement: Ajit Pawar said that we will do our best to run the government in the state. NCP’s Sunil Tatkare will handle the party-related activities.
8. Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony: Preparations have been completed for Devendra Fadnavis’ swearing-in ceremony. The BJP leader said that 42,000 people will participate in this program. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 9 to 10 Union Ministers and 19 Chief Ministers will attend the ceremony.
