Maharashtra Cabinet Portfolio Allocation Announced

Current Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has retained the powerful Home Ministry, highlighting his pivotal role in maintaining law and order across the state. He now oversees Law and Judiciary, Water Resources, and Housing Development, strengthening his influence in the government.
Former Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will oversee the Urban Development Ministry, a critical portfolio given the rapid urbanization in Maharashtra. He will be focusing on infrastructure development and sustainable urban growth.

The government has entrusted Ajit Pawar, with the Finance and Planning Ministry. Pawar brings extensive political experience and aims to prioritize fiscal management, drive economic growth, and utilize resources efficiently for development.
Other notable allocations include Industries and Mining to Uday Samant, Revenue to Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, and Agriculture to Abdul Sattar, among others. These ministries are crucial for driving Maharashtra’s economic and social development.
