New Delhi: The terrorist organization Al-Qaeda has threatened to avenge the murder of mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. Media reports have claimed that Al-Qaeda has issued a seven-page magazine threatening attacks in India to avenge the Atiq-Ashraf murder case. Security agencies have become alert after the threat of terrorist organization.

Meanwhile, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi while addressing a gathering on Friday alleged that the youths who killed Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf are followers of Mahatma Gandhi’s killer Nathuram Godse. These people are part of the terror module of the present ruling party. Owaisi asked why UAPA was not invoked against these boys. As the media is telling that the criminals are from poor families, then how did they get revolvers worth eight lakh rupees each. Who trained them to shoot, to hit with precision and to kill?

Significantly, the mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot dead in police custody in Prayagraj on the night of 15 April. At the time of the incident, the police had taken both the brothers to Colvin Hospital for medical examination. As soon as the two got down from the police van, media persons surrounded them. Three murderers had also reached the hospital posing as media persons. Meanwhile, one of the killers took out a pistol and shot Ateeq Ahmed point blank on his head. As soon as Ateeq fell down, the three murderers fired swiftly and killed Ateeq as well as his brother Ashraf. After this the killers Arun Maurya, Sunny and Lavlesh Tiwari surrendered before the police raising religious slogans.
