Repeat of 26/11 in Mumbai? Police receives threat from PAK number

Mumbai: Traffic control room of Mumbai Police has received a threat message of similar attack like 26/11. This message was received on the control room’s WhatsApp from a Pakistani number. The message said that if one tries to trace his location, it will be shown as outside India and the blast will take place in Mumbai. The threat message says that there are currently 6 people in India who will complete this task. Mumbai Police is investigating the matter. Along with that, other investigative agencies have also been informed about this.

Earlier, a 16-metre long suspicious boat was found off the Harihareshwar-Srivardhan coast in the state’s Raigad district on Thursday morning. On this, three AK-47 rifles and cartridges were found. After this, there was an uproar in the entire state. After that, high alert was issued across the state including Mumbai. However, the officials had said that there was no aspect of terrorism in this case. On the eve of Dahihandi program and Ganeshotsav, weapons were found on the boat, creating an atmosphere of fear among the citizens. However, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that no terrorist connection was found in this case. Fadnavis had informed the assembly on Thursday that the name of this suspicious boat is Lady Han and it is owned by an Australian woman. Fadnavis had said that three ‘assault rifles’, explosives and documents were also seized from this boat.

According to the authorities, the owner of this boat is an Australian woman. However, there is no security threat due to this incident and no link with terrorism has been revealed yet, the investigating officers said. Raigad Superintendent of Police Ashok Dudhe and other senior officials reached the spot and inspected the boat. A Coast Guard officer has said that there is no security threat in the background of this incident.
