MIT School of Government, Pune Presents 12th Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad from 15 to 17 September at MIT WPU, Kothrud, Pune

Pune: The three-day 12th Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad is being organized in the Swami Vivekananda Sabha Mandap of MIT WPU, Kothrud from 15 to 17 September under the joint aegis of Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad Foundation, MIT School of Government and MIT World Peace University, Pune. This Chhatra Sansad is being organized every year since 2011.

The Chhatra Sansad is being formed in collaboration with the Maharashtra State Ministry of Higher and Technical Education as well as the Ministry of Sports and Youth Welfare and the UNESCO Chair for Human Rights, Democracy, Peace, and Tolerance. Many national organizations have also supported this parliament.

The inauguration of the 12th Chhatra Sansad will be held on Thursday 15th September at 11.00 am on the occasion of International Day of Democracy and will conclude on Saturday 17th September at 3 pm.

In this three-day Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad Minister of State for Law and Justice, Government of India, S.P. Singh Baghel, CEO of JK Industries Group and President of IMC Chamber of Commerce Industry Anant Singhania, Environmentalist, Green Activist and Himalayan Ecologist and Founder of the Institute of Conservation Padma Bhushan Dr. Anil Prakash Joshi, Former Chairman of ISRO Kailasavadivu Sivan, Renowned classical singer Smt. Kaushiki Chakraborty, famous actress and former Rajya Sabha MP Roopa Ganguly, former CBI Director D.R. Karthikeyan, National Spokesperson of Aam Aadmi Party and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadda, Renowned Journalist, Political Commentator Rashid Kidwai, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Rahul Narvekar, State Finance Minister of Government of India Dr. Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, Lok Sabha MP Manish Tewari , LallanTop Editor Saurabh Dwivedi, Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgadhi, Columnist and author Vikram Sampath, renowned music composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan, journalist writer Paranjay Guha Thakurta, National Spokesperson and Member of BJP and retired IPS Smt. Bharti Ghosh, will address young audiences in social, media, acting, industry, law, spiritual and sports fields.’

World famous scientists Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, Tushar Gandhi, Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Anu Agha, Abhay Firodia, Justices N Santosh Hegde, Lobsang Sange, Mark Tully, Dr. Vijay Bhatkar are the guides of this Chhatra Sansad . Rahul Vishwanath Karad, working president of MIT World Peace University, is the founder of this Chhatra Sansad.

In addition to the opening and closing ceremony of the Chhatra Sansad , 7 sessions have been organized in it.

About Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad:
The Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad was started in 2011 with the aim of bringing a revolutionary change in the mindset of the young generation. From where he was inspired to participate in public works for the purpose of nation and society building. Rahul Vishwanath Karad, working president of MIT World Peace University and founder of the Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad, is the convener and coordinator of this Chhatra Sansad . Also the founding president of MIT World Peace University, Prof. Dr. Vishwanath Dr. Karad is the patron of this Chhatra Sansad . The Chhatra Sansad is a non-political organization and has no affiliation with any political party. The Chhatra Sansad is the only and largest training class in the country that prepares future political leaders. Through this Parliament, the attitude of youth towards politics, political leaders and democracy is changing. More than 10 thousand enthusiastic students from various colleges across the country will participate in this 12th Chhatra Sansad.

Salient Features of Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad :
Direct participation of students active in political and social fields from 30,000 colleges of 450 universities in 29 states. Students are tested at the college level and 10 to 12 thousand of them directly participate in this Chhatra Sansad.

90 thousand students from 200 universities participated through webcasting
Participation of the Speakers of the Legislative Assemblies of 6 States of India Participation of Parliamentary Affairs Ministers of 6 States in India Participation of Vice Chancellors of 6 different Universities of India Greeting young MLAs from different states and different parties . Adarsh Chief Minister Award and Adarsh Yuva Vidhayak Award will be given. Adarsh Highly Educated Yuva Sarpanch Award and Adarsh Yuva Spiritual Guru Award will also be given.
