Lucknow: Many a times, passengers travelling by train feel that they are not getting the correct information or they are unable to get some facilities. Now, the Railways has decided to deploy private employees at 9 stations of the country for the convenience of the passengers.
According to the information, from today i.e. August 1, 2022, passengers will get help from private employees at selected 9 railway stations. Many responsibilities related to the convenience of passengers at the railway station will become easier with the deployment of private employees. In this, the responsibility of Announcement System, Display Board, Coach Guidance and Clock Room will also be handled by private employees.
For this, through training, the employees of the private companies were explained their role. They were trained to take care of the convenience of the passengers and to solve their problems. This service is first starting from Lucknow zone. In the first phase, private employees will be deployed at nine stations including Gorakhpur and Lucknow Junction.
15 employees of private companies will be kept at each station, who will work to give information to the passengers. In fact, earlier this responsibility was of the railway employees.

- Lucknow Junction
- Mankapur
- Basti
- Khalilabad
- Gonda Junction
