New Delhi: Hindu organizations staged Hanuman Chalisa agitation outside the Qutub Minar in Delhi. These organizations demanded that the Qutub Minar be renamed. Activists of the pro-Hindu organization ‘United Hindu Front’ recited Hanuman Chalisa outside Qutub Minar today.
It was demanded that the name of Qutub Minar should be changed to Vishnu Pillar. The Qutub Minar was earlier known as Vishnu pillar. The organization also claimed that Qutub Minar was built by demolishing Jain and Hindu temples.
It was demanded that Hindu and Jain temples should be renovated and Hindus should be allowed to worship.
