New Delhi: Huge crowd of people flock to hill station during summer holidays. However, this time due to the high spread of corona infection, doctors have advised people to be more careful while going on holidays.

According to statistics, infection is more in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Uttarakhand and many districts of northeastern states. The weekly infection rate of corona in six districts of Himachal Pradesh and three districts of Jammu and Kashmir ranges from 11 to 28 percent. Similarly, the spread of infection has been recorded up to 40 percent in five districts of Uttarakhand. Kerala recorded 11,296 new Covid cases last week. This is 2.4 times more than the previous week. Maharashtra is at number two with 4587 new cases, with an increase of 32 per cent. There has been a 94 per cent increase in corona cases in Delhi in the last week.

Corona infection is on continuous rise in India even after eight weeks. Between April 3 and 9, 36,250 people in the country have come under the grip of corona, whereas in the previous week, 20,293 people were found infected. On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health said that 5,676 new cases have been reported on the previous day. However, on Monday the number was 5,880. The number of active patients has increased to 37,093.
