Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue to be installed on Indo-Pak border in Kashmir

Pune: A statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s will be installed on the India-Pakistan border in Kashmir with the aim of encouraging soldiers fighting with enemies on the border of India and increasing their bravery. This is going to be a historic moment, because Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a great symbol of bravery and sacrifice.

The statue will be made on the initiative of Dr. Sagar Dattatray Doifode, Collector of Kupwara district in Kashmir. Abhayraj Shirole, head of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Memorial Committee and Hemant Jadhav, president of Punekar Sanstha, have planned for this activity.

Jadhav said, Bhumi Pujan will be held for the installation of the statue by the end of March. The soil and water from the forts of Raigad, Torna, Shivneri, Rajgad, Pratapgad will be taken for Bhoomi Puja by the organization ‘Aamhi Punekar’. Shirole said, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj drove the enemies away with his war strategy and brave deeds. A statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is being established on the India-Pakistan border so that the Indian soldiers on the border can get inspiration from Shivaji Maharaj.
