Patna: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has become active ahead of floor test in Bihar. CBI has raided 24 places in Bihar. It is said that the CBI has taken this action in connection with the recruitment scam. The places raided by the CBI include those of RJD MLC Sunil Singh, former RJD MLC Subodh Roy, Rajya Sabha MP Ashfaq Karim and Fayaz Ahmed. The CBI raids have taken place ahead of the floor test in Bihar Assembly on Wednesday. In such a situation, RJD has targeted the ruling BJP at the Center saying that this is an act of revenge.

RJD MP Manoj Jha said, “There is a floor test in the Bihar Legislative Assembly today. So BJP has chosen this day to scare. These are BJP raids, they cannot be called ED, CBI raids. These systems work for BJP. From Delhi to Maharashtra and now to Bihar, the same script is seen. We Biharis are durable, will not sell. We will not be afraid.”

What BJP said –
A year and a half ago, when crores of rupees were caught in Biscommon, Nitish Kumar himself had complained. After that the Bihar government took notice and now the result of all this has started to be seen.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also become active in CBI raids. ED has raided 17-20 locations in Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Delhi in connection with money laundering in illegal mining. The ED conducted the raids after questioning Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s party MLA representative Pankaj Mishra and Bachu Yadav. Both of them were arrested by ED some time ago. The ED registered a case under the PMLA Act against Mishra and others in March and began conducting raids.
