Bathinda: The incident of firing took place inside the Bathinda Military Cantonment in Punjab at around 04:35 am on Wednesday. Four soldiers were died in this incident. After this the station quick reaction teams were activated. The entire area was cordoned off and sealed.
Now, again in the midst of the murder of four soldiers on Wednesday morning, a soldier was shot dead in the afternoon. The police have been informed about the incident.
According to police sources, a jawan on duty was suddenly hit by a bullet. He died on the spot. Earlier it was speculated that the jawan had committed suicide, but the police said that it is still a matter of investigation. It is possible that the accident happened while cleaning the weapon while on duty. No information about the identity of the jawan has been made public yet.
