Mumbai: Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) has reduced the price of CNG by Rs 8.13 per kg and PNG by Rs 5.06 per cubic centimeter. The new prices have been implemented from today i.e. on April 8 from 12 midnight. The Central Government has made a big change in the Domestic Gas Pricing Guidelines. After this, now the Union Cabinet has imposed a ceiling price on Thursday, which can lower the cost of CNG and PNG by 10 percent.
In fact, this step can give a big relief to the consumers as the prices of CNG and PNG have increased by 80 per cent in the last few months after a sudden spurt in the international market.
Adani Total Gas Company works only in some big cities of the country. According to media reports, Adani Gas is working in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Faridabad and Khurda. Apart from this, Adani Gas Company will start its distribution network in Prayagraj, Chandigarh, Panipat, Daman, Dharwad, Udham Singh Nagar and Ernakulam. However, this company has not yet reached many big cities including Delhi. But due to low prices, the pressure on other government and private companies will also increase.
