Gaurav Ahuja Case:A shocking incident in Pune has stirred public anger after two individuals, Gaurav Ahuja and Bhagyesh Oswal, were caught engaging in obscene behavior in a public place. Their actions, captured in a viral video, led to a police investigation and subsequent arrests.

The incident took place at Shastrinagar Chowk, where Ahuja and Oswal stopped their BMW car in the middle of the road. Ahuja then urinated openly, while Oswal, seated inside, was seen holding a bottle. Despite people passing by, the duo showed no concern and continued their behavior. A video of the act quickly spread across social media, triggering outrage from Pune residents. Many condemned the disrespectful behavior and called for strict action.
Realizing the severity of the situation, Ahuja attempted to escape. He drove his BMW nearly 20 kilometers away from Kolhapur, abandoning it there. He then rented another vehicle and returned to Pune in an effort to mislead authorities. Additionally, he reportedly asked the driver of the rented car to record another video, possibly to create confusion.
After the video went viral, Pune police launched an investigation. Bhagyesh Oswal was arrested first, while Ahuja later surrendered at a police station in Karad. Both individuals were taken for a medical examination to determine if they were intoxicated at the time of the incident. According to officials, a case has been registered under public nuisance, reckless driving, and endangering public safety as per the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Motor Vehicles Act.
This incident has sparked debates on public decency and law enforcement in Pune. Many residents believe that such behavior should be met with strict penalties to deter future occurrences.
