Mumbai: Income tax raid is going on at the office of Hindi cinema producer Vinod Bhanushali, which is continuing since Thursday morning. Apart from this, the offices of other production houses of Bollywood have also been raided by the IT team. It has been informed by the Income Tax Officer that raids are also going on at the premises of film producer Jayantilal Gada.
Vinod Bhanushali’s company was earlier associated with one of the top music and production companies in the country. He has launched his production house some time back. As per information, the Income Tax Officer has conducted searches at Vinod’s ‘Bhanushali Studios Limited’, Hits Music in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and Bhanushali’s home office.
Apart from this, raids have been conducted at the office and residence of Jayantilal Gada, the promoter of the production company ‘Pan Studio’. Income tax search operation is going on in Jayanthi Lal’s studios and homes. Apart from these, the search operation of income tax is going on at three more production houses. It has been told that this search operation of the Income Tax Department is going on regarding economic irregularities and tax evasion.
