When pictures of actress Jacqueline Fernandes with Sukesh Chandrashekhar went viral, users used these two words indiscriminately. It is said that when a woman comes into a relationship for someone’s property rather than love, she is called a gold digger.

At the same time, the term sugar daddy is also very old. There is nothing like daddy in this and it is used for the relationship when a young girl gets into a relationship with a very rich and old man. It is also said that this relationship is not formal, it is based only on each other’s needs. At one time in China, a warning was issued by the government to the schoolgirls that they should not be misled by the rich people.

In fact, Sri Lankan-born Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s troubles started rising when her pictures with thug Sukesh Chandrasekhar, accused in a money laundering case of Rs 200 crore, went viral. Sukesh, who has been in jail since 2017, was out on bail last year. During this, the picture taken went viral on social media, after which Jacqueline was interrogated by the ED.

During ED’s interrogation, Jacqueline had told in October last year that Sukesh had gifted an Arabian horse worth Rs 52 lakh and three Persian cats. The cost of a cat is about nine lakh rupees. Apart from this, fifteen diamond earrings were also given. The actress had told the ED during interrogation that Sukesh had gifted fifteen diamond-studded ear earrings, a multi-coloured bracelet studded with precious stones and two Hermes company bracelets. Bags, gym wear, expensive shoes and Rolex watches were also given to her as gifts.

Sukesh gave gifts worth 5.71 crores
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had issued a statement on April 30 this year, stating that the thug Sukesh gave gifts worth Rs 5.71 crore to Jacqueline from the money earned from criminal activities or extortion. Sukesh used his colleague Pinky Irani to deliver gifts to Jacqueline.

ED confiscated property worth crores
ED widened the scope of investigation after pictures of Jacqueline with Sukesh went viral. Taking forward the money laundering probe, the ED had attached Jacqueline’s assets worth Rs 7.27 crore and Rs 15 lakh in cash.

Sukesh also gave crores to her family members
According to the ED, Sukesh also gave an amount of Rs 1.44 crore to the family of the actress. To take this money to the family, Sukesh took the help of international hawala businessman Avtar Singh Kochhar.

15 lakhs to the scriptwriter
ED had also revealed on the basis of preliminary investigation that Sukesh had given Rs 15 lakh to a scriptwriter on behalf of Jacqueline. This money was given for writing a web story for Jacqueline. This amount was also attached by the ED.

Mini Cooper car was also found
Sukesh had also gifted a Mini Cooper car to Jacqueline. However, the car was later returned to Sukesh by the actress. The price of this car in India ranges from 40 lakh to 50 lakh rupees. In the chargesheet filed by the ED in the Sukesh case, the ED had said that Sukesh had also given a BMW car to Jacqueline’s mother and sister.

Sukesh was in touch with Jacqueline
The ED had said in April this year that Sukesh Chandrashekhar was in regular touch with Jacqueline from February to August last year. Sukesh was arrested by Delhi Police on August 7 last year. The ED has arrested nine people including Chandrashekhar, his wife Leena Maria Paul, Pinky Irani in this case.

Lookout circular was also issued
The ED had issued a lookout circular against Jacqueline on December 5, 2021. After this, Jacqueline, who was going from Mumbai to Muscat, was brought to Delhi for questioning. Earlier, Jacqueline did not appear for questioning several times on the ED’s summons.

Sukesh entered the world of fraud since the age of 17
Thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar is a resident of Bangalore, Karnataka. It is said that he started fraud business from the age of 17. He started cheating in the name of getting people jobs. Sukesh is accused of duping more than 100 people in the name of jobs amounting to more than 75 crores.

In the year 2017, he came into the limelight when he was arrested from Tamil Nadu in the Election Commission bribery case. Sukesh was accused of taking money from AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran for bribing officials in the case of the two-leaf election symbol. According to the police, Sukeshan had made a deal worth 50 crores with AIADMK leaders. At the time of his arrest, the police had recovered Rs 1.3 crore from him. Chandrashekhar is also accused of cheating some others, including Aditi Singh, wife of Shivinder Mohan Singh, former promoter of Fortis Healthcare.
