The accused, believed to be under the influence of alcohol, was creating a disturbance on the road. When the traffic police intervened, the youth became aggressive, hurling verbal abuse and launching a physical attack.
Swift action by local residents prevented further escalation. The Hadapsar Traffic Division promptly arrived at the scene and apprehended the accused.
