2 perpetrators held in a well-executed operation
Pune: City Crime: A remarkable search operation led by the Nanded Police has led to the arrest of two perpetrators, Sajan Vinod Shah and Kunal Shivaji Puri. They were held to be involved in illegal proprietorship of unlicensed weapons.
The perpetrators, known for their involvement in criminal activities, were caught in a detailed operation in the Ambaidara area, where they were seized with two country-made pistols and bullets. The composite value of the retrieved arms and ammunition was estimated at Rs. 70,500.
Shah and Puri are residents of Dhayari, near Bhairavnath Mandir, and contain a history of involvement in crime activities. Shah is linked to six attempted to murder cases, robbery and assault.
Police intervention and Criminal antecedents
The police believed that the seized ammunition was intended to be used in future criminal activities. The timely intervention of the police has prevented potential harm to the public. The arrested individuals have been charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act.
