Chhattisgarh Woman Killed in Pune: A 35-year-old woman was found dead in the Moshi Road area of Pimpri Chinchwad. Her body was found stuffed in a sack on Friday. The deceased woman hailed from Chhattisgarh, and was last seen alive on the morning of February 19.

Deceased woman has been identified as Tannu Devendra Sahu (35) in primary investigation. Originally from Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh, she currently lived in Chakrapani Vasahat in Bhosari. (Chhattisgarh Woman Killed in Pune)
The police received a call from the driver of a container. The driver informed the police about a strong foul smell coming from an open space. The location he shared was near Matere House Chowk on Jadhavwadi Moshi Road. Bhosari MIDC police station patrolling marshals immediately rushed the spot. Upon checking, they discovered the body of the woman which was stuffed in a yellow-coloured sack. The sack had been placed in a bush to hide it from direct site of passersby.
Along with the woman’s body, police recovered a cell phone from the sack. The body had already started decomposing. The cell phone was in a working condition which may help in further investigation. Woman’s body was sent for autopsy. Bhosari MIDC police has registered a case of murder and also the unidentified accused has been charged for the destruction of evidence.
According to sources, the deceased woman and her husband work as daily wage labourers at construction sites. The woman was married twice, this was her second marriage. The woman have two children from her second marriage. The deceased woman used to wait everyday at this pick spot. Her house was close to this spot. She went to this pick spot and it was the last she was seen alive. Police said they are working on some leads.
